Honda-Ya Izakaya

5/28/16 I went to use a free $30 gift certificate I won from entering in a magazine.

We ordered yaki udon, yaki onigiri plain, crab shumai, miso ramen, negi maki, potato and cheese gratin and French fries. The place got crowded quickly because people were lining up minutes before we entered in (I came with cousins.)

We ordered a lot of food. The bill came out to be over $60 but my certificate helped pay for half of it. I liked the fries and gratin more than the ramen because it tasted like any other ramen you could get in another Japanese restaurant.

Besides, this place was a whole new experience. I’ve never been to an izakaya. It’s like a Japanese pub/bar where friends and families meet in a place like this to unwind over drinks and small dishes that range from hearty standards to refined innovations. This was the best place ever!

The address is 333 S Alameda St Ste 314, Los Angeles, CA 90013 and

the link is Honda-Ya Izakaya in Little Tokyo .
