Rite Aid in Pasadena

I really liked my visit to the Rite Aid in Pasadena. I found a roll on lip gloss with flowers infused inside the bottle. It was really cool. Other products I saw was CoverGirl, Revlon, Maybelline and Clinique. I do like seeing new makeup products. Today was especially cool. There weren’t that many people in the store so I was able to enjoy it much more. Also, I had to chance to see color jolt by Maybelline. The product came in different colors, it was pretty cool.

IHOP Brunch

I went to IHOP yesterday with my mom. I would have posted this yesterday but I got pretty busy cleaning my room so here it is. I went to IHOP and tried something new! Details below…. 🙂 I surprised myself by not ordering pancakes, waffles, or French toast like I usually do. Hehe.

(Left to Right images, top row) I ordered the basic combo of 2 eggs, 2 sausage links and hash browns that went with the new Spinach & Roasted Red Pepper Criss-Croissant. It cost about $7 together.

The Criss-Croissant was made with croissant pastry and baked fresh with a waffle iron and stuffed with scrambled eggs, fresh spinach, and roasted red peppers. Then it was topped off with cheddar & Parmesan cheese and I had them put the Hollandaise sauce on the side.

(Left to Right images, bottom row) My mom ordered the Roasted Turkey dinner that came with a choice of soup or salad. She chose salad with a side of ranch dressing. Her entrée came with roasted turkey breast atop a bed of savory stuffing and topped with warm turkey gravy. They were served with creamy mashed potatoes, broccoli and bread. It cost about $12.

My order: Excellent! The breakfast was yummy. The spinach and red pepper criss-croissant was good but I felt there needed to be more egg present because mostly all I could see was spinach and more spinach. The pastry was salty and tasted good and it tasted even better when I poured gravy on it, my mom thought it tasted good with syrup.

Mom’s order: She didn’t like that the turkey tasted like it was fried on the pan. She ate most of the stuffing, broccoli, bread and half of my hash browns. We took the turkey home. I finished off her gravy and mashed potatoes.

All in all, it was a great brunch. I’m not so sure I would order the criss-croissant again but I think I’d like to try their chocolate chip pancakes, sometime. There were two other flavors for the criss-croissant; strawberry and cream cheese & salted caramel and banana. It was a packed house in IHOP.

Sun Bum

Another new product to use in the sun and summer!! It definitely has a lot of appeal too.

It’s called Sun Bum!! 😀

And it’s also a great product to use from the Harmon Health and Beauty store.

Guess what I have discovered? It’s a new product! It’s called Sun Bum, a company that uses a new high quality lifestyle brand of sun care products specifically formulated for people who live and love in the sun. A brand that captures the essence of the outdoor lifestyle while protecting ourselves, and the ones we love, from the harmful dangers of the sun. There was a bunch of cute SPF 30 Lip Balms; they had pomegranate, key lime, mango, banana, coconut and grapefruit. They also had sunscreen lotion, ‘cool down’ hydrating after sun lotion, SPF 30 Spray Sunscreen, Sunless Tanning Towelette, and so much more.

Milani, NYX, & Essie

This past Wednesday, I walked into a Harmon Beauty & Health store. It was brightly lit, well spaced, spread out nicely, and employees were so nice. I liked walking around the store. There happened to be a new makeup brand that I hadn’t heard of before. It’s called Milani. Below is the first collage I made of many products Harmon had in store. I saw something I really liked; it’s the first two images of the first row. I think it is Milani Moisture Lock Oil Lip treatment; like lemon oil, grapefruit oil, and coconut oil. There was also Rose powder blush, eye palettes, gel powder eyeshadow, matte lipstick.

Secondly, there was NYX and Essie Nail polish brands there too. NYX had Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick, several different shades of matte lipstick and red and pink lip balm. Essie had rows upon rows of nail polish. There was even a bigger display of the new gel control nail polish. Most of the makeup in store was more than $6. Other than that, I had a very nice time inside the store. This store is in Pasadena, near the Einstein Bros at Hastings Ranch, which is across the street from it.
