I had the chance to eat at Olive Garden and get the buy one, take one home.
My order: Get the cheese ravioli and take home the fettucine alfredo. My mom ordered the five cheese ziti and asked for the same dish to take home. My brother ordered the spaghetti and also asked for the ziti. We got soup and salad. I gotta say that the soup filled me up; it was chicken & gnocchi. The ravioli was just as good. My family enjoyed their pasta dishes. I think someday I’d like to come here and try the wine. Another great bonus: unlimited breadsticks. I ate like four and took some home. Do you have a favorite Italian place to go?
Hope you like this collage. Been a while since I’ve been to Olive Garden.
Costco candy, pie, Pocky, coffee, giant teddy bears, water…the list goes on.
Mom went to Costco to stock up on paper goods, check out Christmas candy, and I walked around realizing most of the furniture had been moved to make room for Xmas decorations and candy. The giant teddy bears on display along with Halloween clothes in the following aisle. I smelled the fresh bread and the baked pies. Winter clothing and children dresses & coats were there too, next to the books and film sections.
Got the rare chance to wander the makeup aisles and the time to see the awesome Material Girl clothing line. I often don’t stop by Macy’s due to it having more of the high end brands than JcPenney’s. I found out that the perfume I have favored; it’s too strong and I sneezed the whole afternoon later. It was from Lancôme, la vie est belle. The bottle is beautiful though.
The local mall near my house just opened an H & M. It’s huge! So, I saw Estee Lauder makeup, Clinique creams and lotions, Shiseido, Lancôme, and Dior. I saw many promotions that included colorful print makeup bags and different free samples that came with it. Ja’dore makeup.
One month away from Halloween!
I haven’t been posting because I have been pretty balancing school, club duties, transfer/college conversations, and well, life.
Also, I haven’t been to Costco in about a month. I found Halloween items on display. For me, this is rare. So, this was a treat for me. I’ll most likely post some food items of Costco this week. #halloweeniscoming Are you ready?
I always love to walk to the cookie and chips aisles in markets like Ralph’s, Vons, Albertson’s, Rite Aid, CVS, and Smart & Final. It would be very fascinating to find new Oreo cookie brand flavors. There’s original, double stuf, mint, lemon, birthday cake, and cookie dough. I found at least 4 new flavors!! 🙂
- Swedish Fish
- Pumpkin Spice
I do like the double stuf and the mint flavor. I’m sure I ‘d like the chocolate and the Halloween flavors but I’m really not that sure about the Swedish Fish and the Pumpkin Spice. Have you tried these flavors? What do you think?
I went into Koreatown to look for this one market that sells the Samyang Spicy Ramen noodles. It took awhile and I did get lost. But fear not, thanks to Google Maps I found the market. I haven’t been to Koreatown for some time. I’m mostly always in Little Tokyo.
Once I entered, a fresh gust of air conditioning welcomed me. I looked up several times as I passes aisle by aisle. I found the ramen and it was one dollar off; normal price was $5.99 but today was $4.99!! It was such a great buy I got two of them. It’s a 5 pack of ramen times two. I’m really getting used to eating it.
Anyways, I found the chips, snacks, noodles, and sweets aisles pretty quickly.
I didn’t have as much time to wander the store but I did see two small restaurants inside the market. Oh and I did see something; I think it’s a famous Korean actor whose name I forgot, I recognized in the top row photos (lemona), it was taken next to the gum section by the cashier.
Here’s the website Hannam Chain and the address to the location is 2740 West Olympic Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90006 .
